- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Divide dough into four portions and roll each into an oval shape.
- Mix mozzarella and feta cheese, then spread the mixture in the center of each oval.
- Fold the edges slightly over the filling, pinching the ends to create a boat shape.
- Brush the edges with egg yolk.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
