Meat:
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1/2 lb turkey breast, sliced
Produce:
- 1/4 cup fresh lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
Condiments:
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Bread & Dairy:
- 8 slices bread (sourdough, white, or whole grain)
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Make the Dijon-Mayo Spread:
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Spread the Dijon-mayo mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer sliced turkey, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce onto four of the bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
3. Grill the Sandwiches:
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
