Description

Delight in the irresistible flavors of fall with this Swirled Caramel Apple Fudge! This creamy, melt-in-your-mouth treat is a perfect combination of tangy green apple and rich salted caramel flavors, beautifully swirled for a stunning presentation. Easy to make and perfect for seasonal parties or gifting!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces salted caramel candy melts
  • 16 ounces vibrant green candy melts
  • 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk (two 14-ounce cans)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons green apple candy flavoring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan:
    • Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring the edges overhang for easy removal later.
  2. Set Up the Candy Melts:
    • Place the caramel candy melts in one microwave-safe bowl and the green candy melts in another.
  3. Mix the Sweetened Condensed Milk:
    • Pour one can of sweetened condensed milk into the caramel melts.
    • Mix the green apple candy flavoring into the second can of sweetened condensed milk, then pour this mixture into the green candy melts.
  4. Melt the Mixtures:
    • Microwave each bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until the candy melts are completely melted and the mixtures are smooth (about 2 minutes per bowl).
  5. Create the Swirl:
    • Alternate pouring the caramel and apple mixtures into the prepared pan a little at a time, creating layers to achieve a swirl pattern. Use a spatula or knife to gently swirl the colors together for a marbled effect.
  6. Chill the Fudge:
    • Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours, or until the fudge is fully set.
  7. Slice and Serve:
    • Once set, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 32 even pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Caramel Candy Melts: Do not substitute regular caramel for this recipe; caramel candy melts are required to achieve the right texture and flavor.
  • Storage: Store fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Variations: For an extra festive look, top the fudge with edible glitter or sprinkles before chilling.
