Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Roll the dough into small 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden. The tops should remain pale.
- Coat in Powdered Sugar:
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly for 5 minutes. While still warm, roll each cookie in confectioner’s sugar until fully coated.
- Cool Completely:
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack. For a snowier look, roll the cookies in powdered sugar a second time once fully cooled.
