2 tablespoons strawberry puree or strawberry milk
-
Few drops pink food coloring (optional)
For garnish:

6 fresh strawberries, halved
-
Optional: extra strawberry whipped cream for piping
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
-
Mix in egg and melted butter. Gradually add flour and salt to form a dough. Knead until smooth and elastic.
-
Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
-
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into rounds. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
-
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry donuts for 1–2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and cool completely.
-
Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in strawberry jam.
-
Fill a piping bag with the strawberry cream and pipe into each donut from the side.
-
Mix glaze ingredients until smooth. Dip each donut top into the glaze and let set.
-
Optionally, pipe a swirl of cream on top and garnish with a halved fresh strawberry.
Notes
-
Make sure donuts are fully cooled before filling or glazing.
-
Strawberry milk adds sweetness and a pink tint to the glaze.
-
Keep refrigerated if filled and not eaten right away.
