Ingredients

Scale

Meat:

  • 16 split chicken wings

Produce & Spices:

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Condiments:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sweet Thai chili sauce

Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken Wings:

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, season wings with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

2. Cook the Wings:

Air Fryer Method:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.

Oven Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place wings on a lined baking sheet and bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway.

3. Make the Sticky Sauce:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup and sweet Thai chili sauce.
  • Stir well and simmer for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

4. Toss & Serve:

  • Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl.
  • Pour the sticky sauce over the wings and toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately with sesame seeds, green onions, or extra chili flakes for garnish!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the wings with a little oil before air frying or baking.
  • Want them spicier? Add sriracha or red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Serve with: Steamed rice, coleslaw, or a side of ranch or blue cheese dip.
