Description

Festive green-themed chocolate-covered strawberries decorated with edible glitter, a shamrock design, and crunchy rainbow sprinkles—perfect for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations! These lucky treats add a touch of magic to any holiday spread.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or green candy melts
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate (for drizzle)
  • 1/4 cup crushed rainbow cereal (for texture)
  • Green food coloring (if using white chocolate)
  • Edible glitter or shimmer dust
  • Shamrock-shaped fondant or icing decorations (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping.
  • Melt the green chocolate by microwaving green candy melts or white chocolate with green food coloring in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Add coconut oil if needed for a silkier texture.
  • Dip the strawberries into the melted green chocolate, letting the excess drip off before placing them on the parchment paper.
  • For added texture, drizzle melted white chocolate over some strawberries and immediately sprinkle crushed rainbow cereal on top before it sets.
  • Decorate: Sprinkle edible glitter on some strawberries for a shimmering effect and add shamrock decorations for an extra festive touch.
  • Set the strawberries at room temperature for 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
  • Serve & enjoy these lucky St. Patrick’s Day treats!

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for a pot-of-gold theme.
  • If using white chocolate, stir in a few drops of green food coloring for a vibrant color.
  • Store in the refrigerator and enjoy within 24 hours for the freshest taste.
  • Add gold sprinkles or gold leaf accents for extra St. Patrick’s Day sparkle!
