For the Garlic Herb Butter:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sourdough starter, flour, salt, sugar, garlic powder, warm water, and olive oil.
- Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rest for 4-6 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).
2. Shape the Bread:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and brush with melted garlic butter.
- Slice into equal strips, stack them, and place them into the loaf pan.
3. Bake & Serve:
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
