Description

Ingredients

  • 2 everything or poppy seed bagels, sliced and toasted
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (plain or herbed)
  • 6 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Toast the Bagels:

    • Toast the bagel halves until golden brown.
  2. Spread the Cream Cheese:

    • Spread a generous layer of cream cheese over each toasted bagel half.
  3. Assemble the Bagels:

    • Layer thin slices of smoked salmon on top.
  4. Garnish & Season:

    • Garnish with red onion slices, capers, dill, and black sesame seeds.
    • Finish with a sprinkle of black pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  5. Serve & Enjoy:
