- 4–5 heads baby bok choy, halved lengthwise

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional, for extra umami)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional, for balance)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Prepare the Bok Choy:
- Rinse and drain the baby bok choy, removing any dirt. Pat dry.

Sauté the Garlic:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Bok Choy:
- Add bok choy to the pan, cut side down.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar, red pepper flakes, and water.
- Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp.
