Description

This Raspberry Lemonade is a refreshing blend of fresh raspberries, zesty lemon juice, and just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect for hot summer days, this homemade drink is bursting with antioxidants, vitamin C, and natural flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 45 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Lemon slices & fresh raspberries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Muddle the Raspberries

  1. In a bowl, gently muddle the fresh raspberries using a spoon or muddler to release their juices.

Step 2: Mix the Lemonade

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the muddled raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
  2. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 3: Strain for a Smooth Texture (Optional)

  1. For a seed-free lemonade, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into another pitcher or bowl. Press down on the solids to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 4: Chill & Serve

  1. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice cubes.
  2. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries, if desired.

Notes

  • For a sugar-free version: Use honey, agave syrup, or a sugar substitute.
  • Want it fizzy? Replace 2 cups of water with sparkling water for a bubbly twist.
  • Stronger raspberry flavor? Increase the amount of raspberries to 1 ½ cups.
