Description

Energy-packed, naturally sweet date and nut bars, perfect for a nutritious iftar treat. These no-bake bars are loaded with healthy ingredients, making them an ideal snack for Ramadan.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Blend: In a food processor, blend dates, almonds, walnuts, coconut, cinnamon, and cardamom until a sticky dough forms.
  2. Press & Chill: Press the mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish and refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
  3. Slice & Serve: Cut into bars and store in an airtight container. Enjoy for iftar!


Notes

  • For extra crunch, add chopped pistachios or cashews.
  • For a chocolate twist, drizzle with melted dark chocolate before refrigerating.
  • Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
