Ingredients

Units Scale

Meat

  • 1 package breakfast sausage links

Condiments

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Baking & Spices

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Dairy

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cook the Sausage

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage links until browned and fully cooked (if using raw sausage). Drain excess grease and set aside.

3. Wrap the Sausage

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  2. Sprinkle a little cheddar cheese on each piece of dough.
  3. Place a cooked sausage link at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.

4. Add the Maple Butter Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with maple syrup.
  2. Brush the tops of the wrapped sausages with the maple butter mixture.

5. Bake & Serve

  1. Place the wrapped sausages on the baking sheet, seam-side down.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy with extra maple syrup or your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning before baking.
  • Swap cheddar cheese for pepper jack or mozzarella for a twist.
  • Use turkey sausage for a lighter option.
  • Serve with scrambled eggs and fruit for a complete breakfast!
