Description

This Old Bay Shrimp Salad is a refreshing, creamy, and zesty dish that’s perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or a light summer meal. Made with tender shrimp, crunchy celery, red onion, and a tangy lemon-mayo dressing, this salad is packed with bold Old Bay seasoning for a classic seafood flavor. Gluten-free and ready in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: If using raw shrimp, boil in lightly salted water for 2-3 minutes until pink. Drain, cool, and chop.
  2. Mix the Dressing: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add chopped shrimp, celery, red onion, and fresh dill to the dressing. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let flavors meld, or serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use jumbo or medium shrimp for the best texture.
  • Prefer a lighter version? Swap mayonnaise for Greek yogurt.
  • Make ahead-friendly—store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
