Description

These No-Bake Frito Bars are the ultimate sweet and salty treat, combining crunchy corn chips, gooey peanut butter, and a drizzle of chocolate. With just 5 minutes of prep and no oven required, this quick dessert is perfect for parties, snacks, or satisfying your sweet tooth in a hurry!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  • 23 ounces chocolate (chips or almond bark, for drizzle)
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

  1. Grease a 9″ x 13″ pan and spread the Fritos evenly across the bottom.

Step 2: Make the Peanut Butter Mixture

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth.

Step 3: Assemble the Bars

  1. Pour the peanut butter mixture evenly over the Fritos.
  2. If using, sprinkle the toffee bits on top while warm.

Step 4: Add the Chocolate Drizzle

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe ziplock bag in 30-second intervals, kneading between each round until smooth.
  2. Snip off a corner of the bag and drizzle over the bars.

Step 5: Cool & Serve

  1. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares. (Hard to wait, but worth it!)

Notes

  • Extra Crunch: Try adding chopped pretzels or peanuts for even more texture.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Flavor Twist: Swap peanut butter for almond butter or Nutella for a different flavor profile.
