Description

This Mississippi Sin Quiche is the ultimate comfort food, packed with creamy cheeses, savory ham, and a hint of spice. Baked in a flaky pie crust, this rich and indulgent quiche is perfect for brunch, lunch, or a cozy dinner. The combination of cream cheese, cheddar, and a touch of hot sauce creates a flavorful dish that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 green onion (chopped)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  2. Prepare the filling – In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sour cream, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  3. Assemble the quiche – Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Layer with ham, cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
  4. Pour the egg mixture – Gently pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring everything is evenly covered.
  5. Bake – Place the quiche in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Cool & serve – Let the quiche cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Spicy option – Increase the hot sauce or add diced jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Cheese swaps – Try Monterey Jack, Swiss, or pepper jack instead of cheddar.
  • Gluten-free version – Use a gluten-free pie crust or bake without a crust for a crustless quiche.
  • Meal prep friendly – Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven or microwave.
