Instructions
1. Sear the Pork Chops (Optional for Extra Flavor)
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then sear for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown. (This step enhances flavor but can be skipped.)
2. Prepare the Sauce
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic.
3. Slow Cook the Pork Chops
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the pork chops.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until tender.
4. Thicken the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to make a slurry.
- Stir the slurry into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce.
