- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
2. Cook the Chicken Burgers
Grilling Method:
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly grease the grates.
- Grill patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Pan-Frying Method:
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side, ensuring they are golden brown and cooked through.
Baking Method:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
3. Assemble the Burgers
- Toast the burger buns for extra flavor.
- Spread mayonnaise, mustard, or your favorite sauce on the bottom bun.
- Add lettuce, a chicken patty, tomato slices, red onion, and cheese (if using).
- Top with the other bun and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra moisture, add 1 tbsp of mayonnaise to the burger mix.
- Swap breadcrumbs for panko for a crispier texture.
- Use ground turkey instead of chicken for a variation.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze patties for up to 2 months.
