Scale
- 4 ripe peaches (halved and pits removed)
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
Prepare the Peaches
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice.
- Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with the sugar and spice mixture.
Grill the Peaches
- Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes until grill marks form and the peaches begin to caramelize.
- Flip the peaches and grill for an additional 2–3 minutes on the skin side, just to warm through.
Serve
- Remove from the grill and serve warm. Optionally, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with honey for added sweetness.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches to prevent them from becoming too mushy on the grill.
- Experiment with spices like cinnamon or nutmeg if you don’t have pumpkin pie spice.
- This dish can also be made indoors using a grill pan.
