For the Fritters:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Prepare the Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.

Heat the Oil:
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Fritters:
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove fritters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Make the Glaze:
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and let it set before serving.

Notes
- For extra crunch, add 1 tbsp of cornstarch to the dry ingredients.
- Frozen blueberries can be used but should be added straight from the freezer.
- Best eaten immediately but can be stored for a day in an airtight container.
