Description

These Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are the perfect way to enjoy a restaurant-quality seafood dinner at home. Baked in a rich garlic butter sauce and seasoned with smoked paprika, these tender and juicy lobster tails are an easy yet elegant meal for special occasions or weeknight indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the lobster tails: Using kitchen shears, cut along the top of the shell and gently pull the meat slightly out, resting it on top.
  3. Make the garlic butter sauce: In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat the lobster: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Bake the lobster: Place lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  6. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for extra flavor.

Notes

  • For an extra golden crust, broil the lobster for the last 1-2 minutes of baking.
  • Use a meat thermometer—lobster is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
  • Pair with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, or a crisp white wine for a perfect meal.
  • Swap smoked paprika for cayenne pepper if you like a spicy kick.
