Units Scale

Produce

  • 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 4 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Baking & Spices

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Oils & Vinegars

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Dairy

  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lettuce: Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into thin strips. Place in a large salad bowl.
  2. Add Fresh Ingredients: Toss in the chopped green onions and fresh dill.
  3. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine & Toss: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to coat everything evenly.
  5. Add Feta & Serve: Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add crunch with sliced cucumbers or radishes.
  • Make it a meal by adding grilled chicken, shrimp, or chickpeas.
  • Enhance the flavor with a splash of red wine vinegar or a pinch of oregano.
  • Serve fresh for the best texture, as romaine lettuce can wilt quickly.
