Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 24 cupcakes (vanilla or chocolate, baked & cooled)
  • 2 cups unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Gel food coloring (white & silver-gray)
  • Edible glitter

Instructions

  • Arrange Cupcakes: Place the cupcakes on a large board or platter in the shape of an engagement ring.
  • Prepare Buttercream: Beat the butter until creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth and fluffy.

  • Add Sparkle: Lightly sprinkle edible glitter over the cupcakes for a dazzling touch.
  • Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set the frosting before serving.

Notes

  • Use a printed template or guide to help arrange the cupcakes evenly.
  • Add a fondant diamond or silver edible pearls for extra detail.
  • Can be prepared a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
