  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.

  3. Bake – Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Cool – Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  5. Make the Glaze – In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk until smooth.
  6. Glaze & Serve – Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake and let it set before serving.

Notes

  • For extra lemon flavor, add 1 teaspoon of lemon extract to the batter.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a slightly lighter texture.
  • Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries for a delicious touch.
