- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup cucumber, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint or cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt (optional)
- 1/2 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- A pinch of black pepper
- Water, if needed, for consistency
Instructions
- Whisk the yogurt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add chopped cucumber, cumin powder, salt, chaat masala, black salt, and green chili (if using).
- Stir in fresh mint or cilantro and mix well.
- Adjust the consistency by adding a little water if needed.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and mix again.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cumin powder and a few cucumber pieces.
- Serve chilled alongside biryani, kebabs, or as a refreshing dip.
