Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 18 oz yellow or white candy melts
  • 1 cup pastel candy melts (assorted colors)
  • Easter-themed sprinkles, for decoration

Instructions

1. Make the Oreo Truffle Filling:

  1. Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor (or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin) until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze for 20-30 minutes to firm up.

2. Melt the Candy Coating:

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the yellow or white candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  2. Separately, melt the pastel candy melts in small bowls for decorating.

3. Dip & Decorate:

  1. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled Oreo truffle into the melted candy coating, tapping off excess.
  2. Place back on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with Easter-themed decorations.
  3. Drizzle with the pastel-colored candy melts for a festive touch.

4. Set & Serve:

  1. Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
  2. Enjoy or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • No food processor? Crush the Oreos in a sealed bag using a rolling pin.
  • For a variety of colors, divide the truffle mixture and dip in different colored candy melts.
  • Storage Tip: These truffles freeze well for up to 3 months—just thaw before serving!
