Instructions
1. Make the Oreo Truffle Filling:
- Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor (or place them in a sealed bag and crush with a rolling pin) until fine crumbs form.
- In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze for 20-30 minutes to firm up.
2. Melt the Candy Coating:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the yellow or white candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Separately, melt the pastel candy melts in small bowls for decorating.
3. Dip & Decorate:
- Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled Oreo truffle into the melted candy coating, tapping off excess.
- Place back on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with Easter-themed decorations.
- Drizzle with the pastel-colored candy melts for a festive touch.
4. Set & Serve:
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
