Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Lime wedges and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce. Garnish with lime wedges and parsley.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double-coat the shrimp by repeating the egg and panko step.
  • Serve with cocktail sauce, spicy mayo, or garlic aioli for added flavor.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in an air fryer for crispiness.
