Description

A golden, buttery garlic bread filled with creamy cheese and fresh herbs, topped with finely grated parmesan for an irresistible flavor. Perfect for snacking, appetizers, or pairing with soups and pastas!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large soft bread rolls (brioche or milk bread preferred)
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven

    • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Bread

    • Using a sharp knife, score the bread rolls in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Make the Garlic Butter

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Fill the Bread

    • Gently spread cream cheese into the cuts of the bread, ensuring each section has a generous amount.
  • Brush with Garlic Butter

    • Using a pastry brush, evenly coat the entire bread, making sure the butter drips into the crevices.
  • Bake to Perfection

    • Place the prepared bread on the baking sheet.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Add the Finishing Touch

    • Once out of the oven, sprinkle finely grated parmesan over the warm bread.
    • Serve immediately for the ultimate cheesy, garlicky experience!

Notes

  • Best Served With: Pasta, soups, or as a party appetizer.
  • Extra Cheesy: Add mozzarella inside the bread for a melty center.
  • Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but can be reheated in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
