Ingredients

These Cinnamon Swirl Snickerdoodle Blondies combine the soft, chewy texture of blondies with the warm cinnamon-sugar flavor of snickerdoodle cookies. With a rich vanilla base and a buttery cinnamon swirl, this nostalgic treat is easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Enjoy them with a cup of coffee or as a sweet afternoon snack!

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Step 2: Make the Cinnamon Swirl

  1. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ⅛ cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
  2. Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter.
  4. Pour the remaining blondie batter on top and smooth it out.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
  6. Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter for a marbled effect.

Step 3: Bake & Cool

  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the blondies cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy

  • Cut into 16 squares and enjoy as-is or with a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness!

Notes

  • For Extra Chewiness: Slightly underbake by removing from the oven when the center is just set.
  • Add a Topping: Drizzle with cream cheese glaze or caramel sauce for a decadent twist.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
