Instructions

Make the Cupcakes
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Prepare the Batter
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and milk, mixing until just combined.

Bake
- Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

- Beat butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing well.
- Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract.
- Beat until frosting is creamy and fluffy.

- Using a grass piping tip, pipe frosting in circular motions to create a nest shape on each cupcake.
- Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles to add texture.
- Place three mini speckled candy eggs in the center of each nest.
