Description

Juicy, ripe strawberries dipped in smooth, creamy chocolate and decorated with elegant drizzles and sprinkles. A simple yet luxurious Mother’s Day treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pint (about 12) fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 6 oz white chocolate (or pink-colored chocolate)
  • 6 oz milk or dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)
  • Sprinkles or edible gold dust (optional)

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate: In separate bowls, melt white and milk/dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add coconut oil if using for a silkier texture.
  • Dip the Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Decorate: Drizzle with contrasting chocolate or sprinkle with edible decorations like sprinkles or gold dust.
  • Chill: Let the strawberries set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 minutes until firm.
  • Serve & Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping, as water can cause chocolate to seize.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but serve fresh for the best taste.
  • For an extra fancy touch, use a piping bag to create thin chocolate drizzles or add crushed nuts for texture.
