Description

These Chocolate-Dipped Peanut Butter Pretzels are the perfect sweet and salty treat! Creamy peanut butter filling is sandwiched between crispy pretzels, then dipped in smooth, melted chocolate for a decadent bite-sized snack. Perfect for holiday treats, party snacks, or everyday indulgence!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

For Assembly & Coating

  • Pretzels (mini or regular)
  • 4 squares chocolate almond bark

Instructions

1. Prepare the Baking Sheet

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.

2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter and butter until smooth.
  2. Scrape down the bowl, then add powdered sugar and brown sugar. Mix until fully combined.
  3. The mixture should be rollable without sticking to your hands. If needed, add more powdered sugar.

3. Assemble the Pretzel Sandwiches

  1. Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls.
  2. Place a ball between two pretzels, gently pressing down to sandwich them.
  3. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.

4. Melt the Chocolate

  1. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate almond bark, stirring occasionally until smooth.

5. Dip the Pretzels in Chocolate

  1. Remove pretzel bites from the freezer.
  2. Dip half of each pretzel sandwich into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  3. Place back on the wax paper-lined baking sheet.

6. Set & Store

  1. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, sprinkle with crushed peanuts or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
  • Use dark chocolate or white chocolate for variety.
  • Freezing Tip: If frozen, some chocolate may develop a white condensation mark, but this won’t affect the taste.
