Description

These chocolate cherry bliss balls are nutrient-packed, naturally sweet no-bake snacks made with dried cherries, cocoa, nuts, and seeds. A delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth while staying energized and guilt-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried cherries (unsweetened preferred)

  • 1 cup raw almonds or cashews

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional, for added sweetness)

  • 1-2 tablespoons water, as needed

Instructions

  • In a food processor, pulse the dried cherries and nuts until finely chopped and starting to stick together.

  • Add cocoa powder, chia seeds, flaxseed meal (if using), and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture is uniform.

  • If the mixture is too crumbly, add maple syrup or honey and a splash of water, a little at a time, until it holds together when pressed.

  • Roll into 1-inch balls using your hands and place on a parchment-lined tray.

  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to firm up.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Notes

  • Customize by swapping in other dried fruits or nuts.

  • To make it nut-free, use sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.

  • Great for lunchboxes, post-workout snacks, or healthy dessert trays.
