For the Dough:

- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg

- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, melted butter, egg, and salt. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Shape the Bread: Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread a mixture of almond butter, honey, and cinnamon over the surface.
- Roll into a log and slice lengthwise. Twist the two halves together and form a braid.
- Place in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Add Toppings: Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and spread over the cooled bread.
- Sprinkle with chia seeds before serving.
