Scale
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
- 3/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp lime zest (optional, for extra zing)
Instructions
- Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine the cherries, lime juice, water, honey (or maple syrup), and lime zest. Blend until smooth.
- Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
- Fill the Molds: Pour the cherry limeade mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
- Insert Sticks & Freeze: Place popsicle sticks into each mold and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
- Unmold & Enjoy: Run the popsicle molds under warm water for a few seconds to release the popsicles easily. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture before freezing and adjust honey or maple syrup as needed.
- Make It Fizzy: Replace water with sparkling water for a fun, effervescent twist.
- Boost the Flavor: Add a handful of fresh mint or basil for an herbal kick.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
