Description

These Cherry Limeade Popsicles are the perfect refreshing summer treat! Made with sweet cherries, fresh lime juice, and a touch of honey or maple syrup, they’re naturally fruity, slightly tangy, and ultra-hydrating. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, these homemade popsicles are great for cooling off on a hot day!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp lime zest (optional, for extra zing)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine the cherries, lime juice, water, honey (or maple syrup), and lime zest. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
  3. Fill the Molds: Pour the cherry limeade mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
  4. Insert Sticks & Freeze: Place popsicle sticks into each mold and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
  5. Unmold & Enjoy: Run the popsicle molds under warm water for a few seconds to release the popsicles easily. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture before freezing and adjust honey or maple syrup as needed.
  • Make It Fizzy: Replace water with sparkling water for a fun, effervescent twist.
  • Boost the Flavor: Add a handful of fresh mint or basil for an herbal kick.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
