Description

These Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger Rollups are a delicious twist on the classic burger! Stuffed with ground beef, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and topped with a garlic butter glaze, they’re perfect for game day, family dinners, or as a fun appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Rollups:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
    • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
    • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and mix in the crumbled bacon. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Rollups:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
    • Place a small spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll them up tightly, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as needed.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Topping:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with parsley and minced garlic.
  4. Bake the Rollups:
    • Place the rollups on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter topping generously over each rollup.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  5. Serve:
    • Let the rollups cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup or ranch dressing.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Cook the beef mixture up to 1 day in advance and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to keep them crispy.
  • Variations: Add pickles, barbecue sauce, or a slice of jalapeño inside each rollup for added flavor.
