Instructions

Preheat & Prepare Pans
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.

Make the Cake Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

Combine & Color the Batter
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Divide batter into three bowls, tinting each with different shades of blue and purple.

Bake & Cool
- Pour each colored batter into prepared pans.
