Description

This Classic Baked Lobster Tail is the ultimate way to enjoy restaurant-quality seafood at home. Coated in garlic butter and baked to perfection, these tender and juicy lobster tails are a simple yet elegant dish perfect for special occasions, date nights, or holiday dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the lobster tails: Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the lobster shell lengthwise. Gently pull the meat out, resting it on top of the shell.
  • Make the garlic butter sauce: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the lobster: Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  • Bake the lobster: Place lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and tender.
  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

  • For an extra golden finish, broil the lobster tails for the last 1-2 minutes of baking.
  • Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Use a meat thermometer—lobster is done when it reaches 140°F (60°C) internally.
  • Swap paprika for cayenne pepper if you like a little heat.
