Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Graham Cracker Base:

  • 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

For the Pudding Layer:

  • 1 package instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For the Whipped Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup white sugar

For the Banana’s Foster Topping:

  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons banana liqueur
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Base:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined.
  2. Divide evenly among individual serving glasses or a large dish, pressing the mixture into the bottom to create a crust layer.

2. Make the Pudding Layer:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together instant banana pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy. Fold the cream cheese mixture into the prepared pudding.
  3. Layer the pudding mixture over the graham cracker base.

3. Whip the Cream Topping:

  1. In a chilled bowl, beat heavy whipping cream with white sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the pudding layer.

4. Prepare the Banana’s Foster Topping:

  1. In a skillet, melt salted butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Add banana slices and cook for 1–2 minutes, allowing them to caramelize.
  3. Stir in banana liqueur and walnuts, cooking for an additional minute.

5. Assemble:

  1. Spoon the warm Banana’s Foster mixture over the whipped cream layer.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Alcohol-Free Option: Replace banana liqueur with banana extract or leave it out entirely.
  • Make Ahead: Prepare the pudding and whipped cream in advance. Assemble just before serving for best results.
  • Serving Ideas: Garnish with additional graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, or caramel drizzle for extra flair.
