1/4 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
-
Maraschino cherries for garnish

Optional: chopped nuts, pineapple tidbits, or strawberries
Instructions

-
Spread a third of the pudding mixture over the crackers.
-
Add a layer of banana slices on top.
-
Repeat the layers (crackers, pudding, bananas) two more times, ending with pudding on top.
-
Spread the remaining whipped topping over the final pudding layer.
-
Drizzle with chocolate syrup, sprinkle with shredded coconut, and top with maraschino cherries.
-
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, until the graham crackers soften into a cake-like texture.
-
Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
-
Add chopped nuts or pineapple for more banana split flavor.
-
Use banana or chocolate pudding for a flavor twist.
-
Best made a day ahead for easier slicing and best texture.
