For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Meatballs:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
2. Bake & Prepare the Sauce:
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in mozzarella, salt, and pepper. Let simmer until smooth and creamy.
3. Combine & Serve:
- Transfer baked meatballs into a baking dish, pour the creamy garlic sauce over them.
- Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
- Serve hot with pasta, rice, or crusty bread!

- Swap mozzarella for cheddar or feta for a different cheese twist.
