Description

These Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders are a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors! Juicy chicken tenders, wrapped in crispy bacon and coated with caramelized brown sugar, make for an irresistible appetizer or main dish. Easy to make and perfect for weeknights, parties, or game-day snacks!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Tenders
  • 810 slices Bacon (thin-cut works best)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack for even cooking.

2. Wrap the Chicken

  • Season the chicken tenders with black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Wrap each tender with a slice of bacon, securing the ends if needed with a toothpick.

3. Coat with Brown Sugar

  • Roll each bacon-wrapped tender in brown sugar, ensuring an even coating.
  • Place them on the baking sheet seam-side down to keep the bacon in place.

4. Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).
  • If needed, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.

5. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • Serve as-is or with ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Crispier Bacon Tip: Use a wire rack on your baking sheet for even crispiness.
  • Spicy Kick: Add cayenne pepper or a drizzle of hot honey for heat!
  • Make Ahead: Wrap and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
