Description

These Alfredo Meatballs are a rich and delicious twist on classic meatballs, perfect for pasta lovers! Made with juicy pork meatballs and a creamy Parmesan Alfredo sauce, this dish is ideal for serving over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. Easy to make in just 45 minutes, it’s a comforting and satisfying meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Meatballs:

  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Meatballs:

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape into small meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter).
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle with a little oil. Sear the meatballs for 4-5 minutes, turning until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

2. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  3. Add grated Parmesan cheese and cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and thick.

3. Combine & Serve:

  1. Return the meatballs to the skillet, coating them in the Alfredo sauce. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the meatballs are fully cooked.
  2. Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
  3. Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or a splash of white wine to the sauce.
  • Substitutions: Use ground chicken, turkey, or beef instead of pork.
  • Make it cheesy: Add mozzarella cheese for an extra gooey texture.
