Description

These air fryer deviled eggs are a quick and easy twist on the classic recipe! Instead of boiling, the eggs are air-fried to perfection, making peeling effortless. The creamy yolk filling is blended with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and a splash of vinegar for a rich and tangy flavor. Whether you’re looking for easy deviled eggs, air fryer hard-boiled eggs, or a fun air fryer appetizer, this recipe is a must-try!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 slices crispy bacon, crumbled (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook the Eggs in the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
  • Place eggs directly in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 15 minutes.

2. Cool & Peel:

  • Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to stop cooking.
  • Gently peel the shells off.

3. Prepare the Filling:

  • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks.
  • In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

4. Pipe or Spoon the Filling:

  • Transfer the yolk mixture to a piping bag and fill the egg whites.
  • If no piping bag, use a spoon for a rustic look.

5. Garnish & Serve:

  • Sprinkle with smoked paprika and fresh chives.
  • Add crispy bacon crumbles for extra flavor (optional).
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model. Adjust as needed.
  • To add extra flavor, mix in hot sauce, garlic powder, or relish.
  • For a keto-friendly version, use avocado mayo.
  • Air-fried eggs are easier to peel than boiled eggs!
